Nigeria’s ex-military generals who led the country (Nigeria) as democratic presidents have lots of dictatorship attitude in their system. We (Viewers Corner News team) see them as not properly fit to lead the country (Nigeria). They should stay back and enjoy their retirement after having served the country (Nigeria) throughout their lives. Viewers Corner News team came to this conclusion based on what is happening in Nigeria currently and in the past too. Most ex-Nigeria’s military generals do not obey court orders and in any democratic system, obeying court order is part of the requirement of democracy. We (Viewers Corner News team) are calling on Nigerian voters to have a rethink when voting ex-Nigeria’s military officers to lead the country (Nigeria). They were military officers throughout their lives and had been fighting wars, their trainings have always been on war issues. How does anyone think that they can overnight become good democrats? Though some of them may be good leaders but it would get to a point where their military attitude may overtake their sense of reasoning. We (Viewers Corner News team) would recommend that all the would be Nigeria’s ex-military generals who may be nursing the ambition of becoming democratic presidents to please take an intensive course on “Principles of Democracy, values, respect, diplomacy and the rule of law”. Doing so would make them get insight on how democratic issues work.
