MORE THAN 60,000 PEOPLE HAVE LEFT SOUTH SUDAN SINCE A MONTH AGO WAR BROKE OUT BETWEEN THE RIVAL ARMY FACTIONS IN THE COUNTRY.

Viewers Corner News correspondent learnt that more than 60,000 people have fled South Sudan since last month war broke out between rival army factions in the country. According to the report, the United Nations refugee agency stated that more than 52,000 people have gone to Uganda, while about 7,000 and 1,000 fled to Sudan and Kenya respectively. Most people fleeing the country to Uganda are women and children and most of these children are malnourished. A peace deal which was reached a year ago has been threatened by the war and since December 2013 that civil war broke out in south Sudan, about 900,000 citizens of South Sudan have fled the country.
