The crime some corrupt Nigerian judges and politicians committed in the country is worse than what the armed robbers committed. Judiciary in every country of the world is the life wire of the country in question but when that arm of government is compromised, then the country is ruined. Normally judges are not supposed to be in any scandal at all, taken into consideration the nature of their job but in Nigeria, we have seen lately how some judges allegedly deviated by turning their back on the truth which they sworn to uphold at all times. This has shown that majority of those they jailed for various offences could be innocent of the crimes that took them to the prison based on what is going on now in Nigeria. This is not only bad but a big sin against God and humanity, we are very sure that a payback time would come when those corrupt judges will have to face God’s judgement. Now look at the recent accusation ex-governor Amaechi of Rivers state and Justice Okoro are playing on, which is so disgraceful and these are men Nigerians should look up to as mentors but they turned out to be individuals with questionable characters. If people like this can be pointing accusing fingers on each others, what do they expect the ordinary people of the country to do?
Ex-governor Amaechi has been accused of corruption several times showing that he may have lots of skeletons in his cupboard, however the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) should do their job nicely like they have always been doing irrespective of who is involved, no sentiment or political party affiliation. This is the only way Nigeria would come out clean on the war against corruption.
