The United States National Security Adviser (Michael Flynn) has resigned from his post, he resigned over the allegations that he discussed United states sanctions with Russia’s ambassador to the U.S (Ambassador Sergei Kislyak) before Donald Trump took office. He also admitted in his resignation letter that he gave the United States Vice President (Mike Pence) and others incomplete information about his calls with Russia’s ambassador. According to report, Michael Flynn (retired Army lieutenant general) gave this information to Russia before his appointment as the United States National Security Adviser and it is illegal for private citizens to conduct US diplomacy (the Logan Act). Viewers Corners News correspondent gathered that Michael Flynn initially denied having discussed US sanctions with Ambassador Sergei Kislyak and even Mike Pence (Vice President) publicly vouched for him. He has apologized to Mike Pence (US Vice President) for misleading him. President Donald Trump has appointed Retired Lt. Gen. Keith Kellogg as the acting National Security Adviser. The national security adviser is appointed by the president to serve as his or her chief adviser on international affairs and defence.
