This is a beautiful request coming from the Peoples Democratic Party of Nigeria. The people of Nigeria, based on what we know, are good people. They forgive and forget easily. Always looking forward to a better future for the country, however, the truth still remains that the past must always be revisited. In the 16 years of the Peoples Democratic Party’s leadership of Nigeria, what was recorded was looting and destruction of the economy of Nigeria. They created severe economic hardship for the people of the country. The treasury of Nigeria was massively looted by members of the Peoples Democratic Party of Nigeria, which was so visible for Nigerians both at home and abroad to see. The long run effect of that corruption is what Nigerians are suffering till today. The Peoples Democratic Party of Nigeria did not lay a good foundation when they were controlling the affairs of Nigeria, which is the truth, take it or leave it. Now the same Peoples Democratic Party is asking Nigerians that were subjected to severe economic hardship in the past to give them another chance in 2023. Our take on this is that the Peoples Democratic Party of Nigeria should change the leadership of their party by bringing in young individuals with wisdom and foresight. Present them to the people of Nigeria so that they can join others to vie for positions to lead the country when the time comes. Those members of the Peoples Democratic Party of Nigeria who in the past played roles in destroying the economy of Nigeria should be benched. It is only on that basis that the people of Nigeria may listen to the Peoples Democratic Party of Nigeria come 2023. The majority of those in the Peoples Democratic Party of Nigeria who are appealing to Nigerians to let them lead Nigeria in 2023 have been in power for so many years without doing much to ease the sufferings of the poor masses of Nigeria. The Viewers Corner News team believe that if you give such a group of people another chance to lead the country, the worst could happen. These groups of individuals are coming to steal and not to work for the people of Nigeria. Hence, we should continue to speak against them until appropriate changes are made in the political party (PDP). However, the choice of who to cast your vote for is solely yours. If you vote nicely, then you will receive the benefits of good governance. Our duties as advisers is to guide and protect voters when necessary, so that they do not fall into the hands of these corrupt politicians in Nigeria whose jobs are to manipulate voters to win elections every four years. Scamming voters in the country by telling them what they want to hear in order to get their votes, and immediately after that aspect has been achieved, they will return to their usual corrupt ways of doing things. The Viewers Corner News team is appealing to voters in Nigeria to stay away from such a group of politicians. Many of such individuals are in both the Peoples Democratic Party of Nigeria and the All Progressives Congress (APC).
