MEG WHITMAN, THE CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER OF HEWLETT-PACKARD ENTERPRISE (HPE) TO STEP DOWN ON FEBRUARY 1, 2018.

The Chief Executive Officer of Hewlett-Packard Enterprise, Meg Whitman will step down on February 1, 2018 according to the information our correspondent gathered. Whitman who denied in July 2017 of quitting as the CEO of Hewlett-Packard Enterprise when Uber reported of considering her as its next CEO will be replaced by Antonio Neri (50 years). Antonio Neri has been with Hewlett-Packard for more than twenty years and he is currently the president of Hewlett-Packard Enterprise (HPE). Meg Whitman joined Hewlett-Packard in 2011 and oversaw a huge restructuring at Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Whitman will remain on the board of Hewlett-Packard Enterprise. She was previously the Chief Executive Officer of eBay (from 1998 to 2008) and ran for the post of California governorship in 2010.
