The United States spice maker, McCormick & Company has purchased Reckitt Benckiser food business for $4.2 billion. Rakesh Kapoor (CEO of Reckitt Benckiser food) said that the deal will transform Reckitt Benckiser food into a global leader in consumer health and hygiene. Reckitt Benckiser food business has its headquarters in Chester (New Jersey) and the company has 450 employees including 360 employees in Springfield, Missouri. The company’s brands include Nurofen, Woolite and Clearasil.
