A Fulton County Superior Court Judge, Henry Newkirk has convicted and sentenced Martin Blackwell (48-year old Georgia man) to 40 years in prison for pouring hot water on two gay men. According to report, on February, Martin Blackwell poured boiled water on Anthony Gooden Jr. and Marquez Tolbert (a gay couple) when they were sleeping, leaving them with severe burns that required surgery. The Jurors deliberated on his case for about 90 minutes on Wednesday before finding him guilty of eight counts of aggravated battery and two counts of aggravated assault. Martin Blackwell said that he poured boiled water on Anthony Gooden Jr. and Marquez Tolbert because their relationship is very disgusting.
