It was reported that a 17 year old British who described himself as neo-Nazi was recently sentenced to six years and eight months in prison by a Manchester Crown Court for planning a terrorism attack. According to the police report, the teenager whose name cannot be mentioned for legal reasons had researched details of recent mass killings in the United States and Europe. He had searched extensively online for extreme race-hate and right-wing material, he also encouraged others to share the banned material he found. He was arrested in March 2019 when police found at his home in Durham (northern England) a handwritten list of possible places to attack and firearms to buy. In November 2019, the teenager was found guilty of six offences, including preparing to commit an act of terrorism, making him the youngest person to be convicted in Britain of such crime (terrorism attack).
