The people of Ebonyi state (Nigeria) may face more hardship as long as governor David Umahi is in power and there is nothing anyone can do about it because he (governor David Umahi) would first want to recover the huge amount of money he spent during his re-election campaign, most definitely he is going to get it from the state’s treasury. This money belongs to the people of Ebonyi state, too bad. If those who sold their conscience for money by accepting money from governor David Umahi did not do so, things would have been different. Again, the money governor David Umahi spent to be re-elected to office is from the state treasury as alleged. Another horrible politician Ebonyi state has ever produced in the history of politics is Senator Sonni Ogbuoji who APC members in Ebonyi state thought would defeat governor David Umahi but could not perform as expected. He (Senator Sonni Ogbuoji) is a double faced individual and his reputation as far as politics in Nigeria is concerned has already been dented and will go down negatively in Ebonyi state history. Our (Viewers Corner News team) correspondent in London gathered that Mr Osborne Umahi who calls himself “the untouchable” graduated recently from a school in London while the Ebonyi state children are all over Nigeria hawking various items to survive. Now let us get the issue straight here; there is nothing wrong sending your children abroad for studies if you have the money to do so but the Ebonyi state voters who made it possible for governor David Umahi to become the governor of the state (Ebonyi state) are calling on him (governor David Umahi) to make education affordable for their children. Even if they do not have the money to send their children to study abroad but the schools in Ebonyi state should be within their reach. Provide opportunity for them to fend for themselves, that is all they are asking from governor David Umahi. However, no matter what the people of Ebonyi state may say or do at the moment, it would not change the fact that they would be more hard times ahead. Things would get better only if governor David Umahi is out of office but for now, everyone in Ebonyi state should learn to adjust to the situation which governor David Umahi has turned the state into. Again, there is nothing that last forever, in 2023 governor David Umahi will be out of office for a progressive governor to takeover if only the Ebonyi state voters have learned their lessons not to take money and vote for a candidate who is selfish and wicked.
