China is a country that does not take it kindly when it comes to issues of corruption. Recently Ling Jihua (the aide to ex-president Hu Jintao of China) pleaded guilty on corruption and abuse of power, he did the right thing by admitting to his mistakes in the court of law. Assuming he did not say the truth, most probably the court would find out the truth and when that happens, he may face death penalty but now that he has said the truth, God Almighty in his mercy would forgive him. Again he has saved the precious time of the court because if he had pleaded not guilty, the case would go on and on for a long time thereby wasting tax payers money. Honestly issues like this count a lot in most countries around the world that is why some countries of the world encourage their citizens to say the truth at all time because is the only weapon that can save us both here on earth and also in the presence of Almighty God. Therefore we would use this opportunity to appeal to Nigerian politicians to learn a bit of lesson from Ling Jihua’s case, he knew he was wrong and admitted it but look at Nigeria today, the politicians have ruined the economy of the country by sharing all the money which they are supposed to use in executing projects that would better the lives of every Nigerian. When they are caught on this terrible act of stealing government fund, instead of them admitting their mistakes and apologizing to the Nigerian people, they would deny it and prefer to hire the best lawyers in the world to defend them. This is a sin against humanity and God Almighty. Now they waste the precious time of the court and at the same time waste tax payers money which should have been used nicely to better the lives of the Nigerian people therefore we (Viewers Corner News and the advisory team) are appealing to politicians in Nigeria to live within their means and do what is right to assist their fellow human beings in the country (Nigeria) when the opportunity to do so present itself.
