LI WENLIANG, A CHINESE DOCTOR WHO FIRST ISSUED WARNING ABOUT CORONAVIRUS OUTBREAK HAS DIED.

It was reported that Li Wenliang, a Chinese ophthalmologist who first issued warning about deadly coronavirus has died. Li Wenliang who contracted the virus while working at Wuhan Central Hospital died on Thursday, 6 February 2020. On 30 December 2019, Dr. Wenliang sent warning to his medical colleagues about the virus but police warned him to stop issuing false alarm. Coronavirus has killed 636 people including 73 new deaths reported on Thursday. About 31,161 people have been infected in mainland China by the virus.
