LeBron James (the 33 year old basketball best player and three-time Finals MVP) agrees to sign a four-year, $154 million deal with the Lakers. The deal would resurrect Los Angeles Lakers while being a massive loss for the Cleveland Cavaliers (LeBron’s hometown team) where he initially stated his intention to finish his career. The announcement was made through his agency (Klutch Sports Group) on Sunday. This contract will be LeBron’s longest deal since signing a six-year contract with the Miami Heat in 2010, his previous deals were three years or shorter. LeBron helped Cleveland Cavaliers to become the first team in NBA Finals history to rally from a 3-1 series deficit to win it all.
