LAWRENCE PHILLIPS ALLEGEDLY STRANGLED HIS CELLMATE IN THE CALIFORNIA PRISON.

A 40-year-old former NFL player has been charged with murder after his cellmate, Damion Soward was found dead at a central California prison in U.S. Lawrence Phillips who was a former college football player at Nebraska is serving a sentence for more than 31 years after being convicted for choking his girlfriend and equally running over three teenagers with his car after a pickup football game. He allegedly strangled a 37-year-old Cellmate, Damion Soward at Kern Valley State Prison in April. According to reports, if Lawrence Phillips is found guilty, he is not going to face death penalty but life in prison.
