LARGE PERCENTAGE OF POVERTY RATE IN NIGERIA ACCORDING TO WORLD BANK IS IN THE NORTHERN PART OF THE COUNTRY (NIGERIA).

Viewers Corner News team is appealing to state governors in the northern part of Nigeria to go back to the drawing table and find solution on how the issue of poverty in their various states can be reduced or eradicated completely. Beautifying cities and towns in various northern states is nice but does not make a state great when more than half of her people are living below poverty line, such system does not make sense at all. According to world bank, over eighty percent (80%) poverty rate in Nigeria is traced to the northern part of the country (Nigeria). Based on this report, we (Viewers Corner News team) are calling on governors in the northern part of the country (Nigeria) including the rich ones there to kindly take this findings serious. First, more awareness campaign on education should be carried out by taking those children who are on the street to start attending schools because it is when one is educated that he or she can differentiate properly between right and wrong and at the same time create positive impact in the society. Please send those children to school, educating them properly would change their mindset for good and in the long run, the rate of poverty and crimes would be reduced or eradicated completely in the society. This is a special appeal coming from Viewers Corner News team to all governors in the northern part of Nigeria including the rich ones who can afford to do charity by assisting their various states in taking those children out of the street and sending them to school. Your contributions towards these children shall not go in vain but pave way for a greater tomorrow in Nigeria.
