Viewers Corner News correspondent in Ankara learnt that Kurdish militants have killed eight Turkish soldiers in the recent crash after the country’s failed coup. According to report, the Turkish soldiers were performing a security checks in Hakkari province on the road near Cukurca on Friday July 29, 2016 when the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) attacked them killing 8 soldiers and wounded 25 others. Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) and Turkish military have been fighting since the collapse of a two-year ceasefire in July 2015 and hundreds of people have been killed including the civilians.
