The Viewers Corner News correspondent in Abuja (Nigeria) reported that Jose Peseiro has been named the next Super Eagles manager by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF). The Nigeria Football Federation released a statement saying the decision was made during its executive meeting on Wednesday to appoint Jose Peseiro as Super Eagles’ new Head Coach, following the end of the relationship with Mr. Gernot Rohr, after a careful review of a document provided by the Chairman of the Technical and Development Sub-Committee. The Committee decided that Mr. Augustine Eguavoen, who has been named temporary Head Coach, will lead the Super Eagles to the AFCON 2021 in Cameroon, with Mr. Peseiro serving as an observer. After the AFCON, Mr. Eguavoen will return to his position as Technical Director and Mr. Peseiro will take over as the Super Eagles Head Coach. José Peseiro was born on 4th April 1960. He is a former forward and manager of the Portuguese football team.
