Joe Biden (Democratic nominee) has won the United States 2020 presidential election, to become the U.S 46th president. He (Joe Biden) defeated the incumbent president (Donald Trump), thereby sending President Trump to a bitter defeat four years after he won the White House with victory over Hillary Clinton. A candidate needs at least 270 electoral votes to become the United States president and now Joe Biden has crossed the 270 threshold needed to win. Joe Biden got 290 electoral votes while President Donald Trump got 214 electoral votes. Again, Joe Biden has more than 73 million votes, breaking the record for the most number of votes cast for any presidential candidate in the history of United States. Senator Kamala Harris will become the first female vice president in U.S. history. Congratulations to Mr Joe Biden and Senator Kamala Harris.
