Jeff Williams (NASA astronaut and Expedition 48 Commander) and his Russian crew mates (Alexey Ovchinin and Oleg Skripochka) of the Russian space agency Roscosmos have returned safely to earth after a six-month mission aboard the International Space Station. Their Soyuz TMA-20M landed near the town of Zhezkazgan in Kazakhstan on Wednesday, September 7, 2016. The International Space Station (ISS) crew member, Jeff Williams of the United States has completed his fourth mission in space and has become the first in the NASA astronaut list to spend 534 days in space. Alexey Ovchinin has spent 172 days in space and this is his first mission while Oleg Skripochka being his second mission has spent 331 days in space.
