JAPAN’S PANASONIC TO STOP PRODUCTION OF ITS OWN SOLAR CELL AND PANELS.

It was reported that Japan’s Panasonic will stop production of its own solar cells and panels due to continuous increase of price competition from Chinese manufacturers. According to the report, Panasonic will end the production as early as March 2021 at factories in Malaysia and Japan’s Shimane prefecture. The company will source solar panels from other manufacturers.
