JACKSON OLE SAPIT HAS BEEN ELECTED THE NEW ARCHBISHOP OF ANGLICAN CHURCH OF KENYA (ACK).

A 52-year-old Jackson Ole Sapit has been elected the new Archbishop of Anglican Church of Kenya. He is to replace Archbishop Eliud Wabukala whose retirement is due in June, 2016. According to information, the Archbishop-elect will officially take over as Archbishop of the Province of Kenya after being consecrated on July 3, 2016. Jackson Ole Sapit beat five other contestants (Bishop Moses Masamba Nthuka of Mbeere diocese, Lawrence Dena, James Ochiel, Julius Wanyoike and Joel Waweru from Nairobi diocese) at the All Saints Cathedral church in Nairobi to emerge an Archbishop-elect of Anglican Church of Kenya.
Jackson Ole Sapit  was born on June 12, 1964 in Narok and ordained priest in 1992. He became Vicar, Belgut Parish-ACK Diocese of Nakuru in 1992 where he served till 1994. Congratulations to Jackson Ole Sapit and Viewers Corner wish you success.
