Democracy is government of the people which is believed to be the best form of government anywhere in the world. This system of government is not restricted to any ethnic group in Nigeria, it is an open system of government which everyone who believes in a free system should always associate with and not agitating to pull out of Nigeria just like Nnamdi Kalu and his group are doing. Now majority of the Ibo leaders have already made it known that the unity of one Nigeria shall always be their ultimate goal which is very nice, therefore Nnamdi Kalu and his group should kindly listen to the voice of their elders because the words of our elders are words of wisdom. Again the Ibos are doing extremely well in Nigeria and should try through a democratic means by vying to get to the presidency like some of the Ibo elders suggested. Fighting to pull out of Nigeria is not the best way forward, Nigeria today is great because of her ethnic diversity and everyone in the country should try to keep that system moving because it made the country great. However we are pleading with those that are agitating to pull out of Nigeria to have a re-think and also listen to their elders who believe in the unity of one Nigeria. Even the late Ojukwu himself in one of his speeches said that a second secession would not be necessary which automatically means that the idea of Biafra should be left alone. The Ibos should work for the unity of one Nigeria which we expect those agitating for Biafra to adopt and at the same time respect this aspect of speech made by the late Ojukwu himself who was the brain behind the creation of Biafra in the past. Let everyone come together and work for the unity of one Nigeria.
