The former first lady of Nigeria, Mrs Patience Jonathan has cried out that she is being probed because she is supporting her husband who was the former president of Nigeria. We (Viewers Corner News and the advisory team) would want to inform Mrs Patience Jonathan and her supporters that it is the Nigerian law that is after her because she can not defend the source of her wealth. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is only doing what the law of the country (Nigeria) permitted them to do. Since this whole problem started, all the billions including properties in various states across Nigeria which you (Mrs Patience Jonathan) acquired as your own can not be defended and majority of Nigerians both home and abroad know that you (Mrs Patience Jonathan) as the former first lady of Nigeria did not own any business in the past which would give you the type of wealth you are sitting on right now. Therefore the law of Nigeria is after you and those who took money that does not belong to them from the treasury of the country (Nigeria) to build their own empires. Such act is against the law of Nigeria, the truth has to be told. Again no one is against you for supporting your husband but because you can not defend the source of your wealth, that is where the problem is and your lawyers are not telling you the truth just because of monetary gains which they are getting from you. Now the believe of majority of Nigerians is that you used the position of your husband (ex-president Goodluck Jonathan) who was the former president of Nigeria to acquire those wealth which you can not defend how you got them. Our (Viewers Corner News team) visit to one of your hotels in Nigeria where one night of stay is above three hundred and sixty thousand Naira explained what we are trying to point out here and many more. Since you can not defend them correctly, it is only normal that at the end, the federal government of Nigeria may confiscate them which is the right thing to do. The federal government of Nigeria is going after those with questionable wealth and the law of the country (Nigeria) supports that correctly. Your husband (ex-president Goodluck Jonathan) said in the past that stealing is not corruption which is bad. The terrible situation Nigeria found herself today is as a result of corruption because those that led Nigeria in the past 16 years when the price of oil was sold at about 120 dollar per barrel were unable to plan properly to put things right, instead they looted all the money to their own private pockets leaving Nigerians to suffer hardship. The evidence of that is everywhere in the country (Nigeria) today. Right now, president Buhari and his administration are working very hard to put things right which we are sure will be done as time goes on, all they need is patience, understanding and the support of all Nigerians to achieve their objectives. Sincerely they are on the right lane to get it right.
