The recent seizures of a property worth 872 million Naira belonging to Bala Mohammed (ex-minister of federal capital territory Abuja) and his son Shamsudeen Bala by the Economic and Financial Crime commission (EFCC) is one such example of corrupt enrichment. This means that during his tenure as the minister of federal capital territory Abuja, he used his office to allocate properties to himself and his family while other citizens of the country are left without nothing. How terrible and wicked can one be. Look at one property belonging to him and his son worth 872 million Naira, with this sort of money it would be more than enough to create industries in the country (Nigeria) which would employ hundreds of people in Nigeria. Again look at Nigeria today, the unemployment rate is getting out of hand. Nigerian universities producing more graduates on yearly basis which is great but instead of men like Bala Mohammed to invest in the country, they would prefer to stock their loots either in the tanks in their homes or send them abroad. This is economic waste and is not a healthy system at all. This again has shown how wicked some Nigerian politicians can be, they do not care about the welfare of the Nigerian people but only for their own selfish interest.
However God Almighty who brought president Buhari’s government to power would give him the strength and ability to fish out all those who looted the treasury of Nigeria one after the other so that the stolen wealth would be recovered and brought back for the benefits of Nigerians.
