As alleged, about 6.7 billion Naira which governor David Umahi’s government was supposed to have paid to the 13 local government in Ebonyi state did not get to them. Again, if the Nigerian authority had acted early enough, such huge amount of money (6.7 billion Naira) belonging to various local government in Ebonyi state would have been stopped before governor David Umahi squandered it all. Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi state has history of corruption, even though no court of law in Nigeria has convicted him of such crime yet. If the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) of Nigeria dig deep into the finances of Ebonyi state, they would be shocked at what they will find out but now that 6.7 billion Naira alleged local government money being investigated is a good starting point which may take governor David Umahi to jail after his tenure of office. Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi state is one of Nigeria’s most corrupt governors, he is bad news to governance. His ambition to be the president or vice president of Nigeria come 2023 is a huge joke because he has nothing to offer to the people of Nigeria, take it or leave it, that is the truth.
