ISRAELI MISSILE FIRED TOWARDS NORTHWEST SYRIA KILLED ONE PERSON AND WOUNDED SIX.

It was reported that the missile which Israel fired toward northwest Syria on Wednesday, 5 May 2021 killed one person and injured six others. The missiles hit the Syrian northwestern towns of Haffeh and Masyaf. This is the first Israeli missile attack on Syria since two weeks ago (April 22) when Syria fired a missile which struck deep inside Israeli territory. The Syrian air defense units allegedly shot down some of the Israeli missiles before they reached their targets. Israel sees the Iranian presence on its northern frontier as a red line and has been striking Iran-linked facilities and weapons convoys for the Hezbollah group.
