INCORPORATING LOBBYING IN NIGERIA AS SUGGESTED BY SENATOR DINO MELAYE OF KOGI STATE WOULD BE A HUGE MISTAKE IN NIGERIA. IF PASSED INTO LAW, IT THEN MEANS THAT THE FORMING OF CABAL GROUPS HAS BEEN LEGALIZED. THIS IS DANGEROUS TO DEMOCRACY.

A bill in the House which was introduced by senator Dino Melaye of Kogi state (APC) wanting the incorporation of lobbying or lobbyist in Nigeria to be passed into law may not be good for democracy in the country (Nigeria). The citizens of Nigeria and members of the senate should stand up against this bill because the big names in the country (Nigeria) would use it to their own selfish gains which would in the long run affect the democratic movement in Nigeria, however we shall write more on this topic in our next article hopefully. Again if this law is passed, it then means a powerful cabal group would have the license to practise their business openly and freely, this is not a good idea at all. Viewers Corner News and the advisory team is against this move because the big names in Nigeria would sit in their offices and dictate who would be in various positions within the country (Nigeria). Such group would turn itself into a MAFIA organization in the long run and dictate who leads the country to their own advantages, therefore we plead with other members of the senate not to pass this bill into law because it is dangerous. Viewers Corner News team is again pleading with the Nigerian law makers to kill this lobbyist bill introduced by senator Dino Melaye of Kogi state (APC). We (Viewers Corner News team) are citizens of the world and would continue to give advice on issues of importance more especially on the ones that would create problems against humanity by mortgaging their future.
Democracy should be played in an open field without any strings attached but with what is going on now in the country (Nigeria), the big names as they are called are trying to legalize the forming of cabal groups in Nigeria. This is dangerous and should never be allowed to happen.
