Military takeover

In the absence of free and fair democratic elections in Africa, the military will have to do the needful.

Like we said in the past, military government is not the best form of government anywhere it exists on the surface of the earth; democracy is the best system of government, which is government of the people and for the people. In such a system of government, everyone is represented, and it gives everyone the opportunity to freely express himself or herself without intimidation. But under the military government, force is always used to achieve goals, which is not a civilized way to do things. Corruption is also huge in a military government, which no one would ever challenge, even when they are out of office. So such a system of government, wherever it is practiced, should not be encouraged. But then, democracy in Africa, as it is practiced, needs a military takeover in order to control the excesses of those democratic leaders. Reasons are that corruption and manipulations of a democratic system are so rampant in Africa, creating a situation where those who did not win elections are installed in various offices, and when they are finally there, they continue to bend the rules to allow them to remain in power for so many years, which is bad. But if democracy were practiced the way it should be done, then such a system of government would be the best. It is a beautiful system that can take a country to great heights.
