The inflation rate in Nigeria at the moment has reached an alarming level. Hence, we are appealing to the government of Nigeria to address these troubling issues as quickly as they can. It is not by increasing the salaries of workers alone. The government of Nigeria should pump money into producing locally-made Nigerian foods. Nigeria, as a country, has fertile land that can be used to grow its own food. Those billions of naira that are being used to import foreign foods can be used to grow home-made foods. Also, the Nigerian government should make sure that those terrorizing farmers across Nigeria are put on check, so that there is no interruption of farming by the bandits. Meaning that the issue of security should be addressed properly to keep Nigerian farmers safe in their farms. Doing so would ease the burdens that Nigerians are facing concerning food shortages across the country and also reduce the cost of food items in the country.
