Ex-President Omar Al-Bashir of Sudan who no one thought would end up the way he did is now in the prison in his country (Sudan). This is a man allegedly ordered the killings of hundreds of his people in Sudan, to the extent that the International Criminal Court (ICC) placed him (Omar Al-Bashir) on their wanted list for a very long time and pleaded with countries of the world to arrest him if he visits those countries in agreement with the international criminal court. Despite all these appeals from the international criminal court, ex-president Omar Al-Bashir travelled and no country was able to get him arrested until the people of his country (Sudan) said enough is enough. Somehow it is not only because he was wanted by the international criminal court that was the problem, NO but because his system of governance in Sudan got out of hand which steered a revolution that got him removed from power. However, we (Viewers Corner News team) are writing this article based on how ex-president Omar Al-Bashir of Sudan was removed from power, this will serve as a lesson to other African leaders who are uncontrollable to start getting things done the right way for their people. If you as a leader is elected to office and you forget or ignore your people, a day of reckoning would come and then it may be too late just like what happened to ex-president Omar Al-Bashir of Sudan. Leaders in Africa most especially those who are very corrupt and only working for their families and close associates should have a re-think in whatever they are doing as leaders elected to direct the affairs of their various countries because their people and the world are watching. Please be on the good books of your people by doing the right thing. Stop corruption, impunity and selfishness in your respective countries across Africa. Create jobs for your people which would enable them live a comfortable life, this is what leadership is all about.
