IN A COUNTRY (NIGERIA) THE VICE PRESIDENT IS A LAW PROFESSOR AND A SENIOR ADVOCATE OF NIGERIA (SAN), JUDICIARY HAS TURNED TO MOCKERY.

Viewers Corner News team has always been President Buhari’s supporter and would always be but issues of human rights violation by some agencies under President Buhari’s government is unacceptable to us and Nigerians. President Buhari’s government is taking things to the extreme. If Nigeria is in a military regime, then it can be understandable but as long as the country (Nigeria) is running a democratic system of government, the principles and rules of law must be followed. President Buhari and his government are not obeying court’s orders and this attitude is no longer acceptable to majority of Nigerians. In a democratic system of government, if a law court issues an order, it must be obeyed. Look at Mr Sambo Dasuki who has been held since 2015 without trial. Those government agencies holding people in their custody have lost touch completely when it comes to issues of democracy. Another surprising aspect is that in President Buhari’s government, the Vice President of the country (Nigeria) is a law professor and a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN). In the same government, there are great lawyers who are also serving ministers, we (Viewers Corner News team) expect them to advise him (President Buhari) to obey court orders and release those his government is keeping in custody. Again, we (Viewers Corner News team) are calling on President Buhari to release Mr Sambo Dasuki who the law court has granted bail. It is undemocratic to keep him in detention without trial after competent law court in Nigeria has granted him bail. Please let all political prisoners and activists go.
