There is no country in the world that have such privilege based on our (Viewers Corner News) findings concerning the issue of immunity for the Senate president and his deputy. We ask, why did this topic not have been brought for discussion before the House in the past years? Why now? We believe that some group of corrupt senators in the House are trying to have this issue of immunity discussed and pass it into law so that the alleged forgery case against the Senate president and his deputy would be thrown into the trash box. Again since the two leaders said that they are clean and have not violated the law concerning the alleged forgery case against them, then the only best way to prove their innocence before the Nigerian public is to come to the court of law which is a free and fair ground to argue their case instead of trying to bend or ask for immunity so as to avoid being prosecuted.
We also believe that lots of people in the country (Nigeria) would be saying that these two men are being witch hunted just like that for doing nothing, however we do not think so but then we shall leave this aspect for the court of law to decide while we follow the proceedings and see how it would end.
