PDP, LP, and NNPP

If these three political parties (PDP, LP, and NNPP) merge, would they be able to take over power in 2027 from the APC/President Bola Tinubu’s-led government?

During the 2023 presidential election, it was believed that the Labour Party of Nigeria won the presidential race, but unfortunately, they were rigged out by the All Progressives Congress. So if the Peoples Democratic Party of Nigeria and the NNPP merge with the Labour Party, as it is widely said, most Nigerians believe that they would do perfectly well. But the problem is, who is going to be the flag bearer of these parties assuming they merger? Some Nigerians who wrote to the Viewers Corner News office said that they can only accept a coalition with whichever political party is ready to join the Labour Party, but only if Mr. Peter Obi will be the presidential candidate. They also said that Mr. Atiku Abubakar is good, but they did not believe that he has the capacity to do the job of a president. Now hear our take on this issue: no matter the differences of opinion, what is important is that the people of Nigeria want to see and have a country that will work for all. However, we believe that Mr. Peter Obi of the Labour Party would make a great president of Nigeria based on his records. Again, Mr. Peter Obi will not let Nigerians down if he is given the opportunity to lead the country. This is the truth: take it or leave it. We also believe that for Nigeria to work better, the people of Nigeria should throw away tribal sentiments and vote based on the capacity of the individual in question. Doing so will produce a great result for the people of Nigeria.
