If the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission of Nigeria under President Bola Tinubu’s leadership does not arrest and prosecute ex-governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi state, the next government shall do so.

No matter how long it may take to arrest ex-governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi state, one thing is certain, he shall someday be brought to face trial concerning the fraud allegation tied around his neck. Ex-governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi state was accused of embezzling about 80 billion naira belonging to the people of Kogi state which is so huge and the chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission of Nigeria promised to follow it up by arresting and making sure that ex-governor Yahaya Bello is brought to book. But up till today, ex-governor Yahaya Bello is walking freely in Nigeria without being arrested. Again, we are reminding the chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission of Nigeria that the promise he made to Nigerians that he shall arrest and prosecute ex-governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi state has, till today not been fulfilled. Therefore to redeem his image and that of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission of Nigeria, he should keep to his promise. Let the needful be done. Again, Nigerians both at home and abroad are calling on ex-governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi state to clear himself of the 80 billion naira fraud case against him.
