No government anywhere in the world would function effectively without enough funds. Nigeria as a country has enough money that would have put the country among the best in the world. But corrupt leaders, who are only interested on how much money they are going to steal, have been the reason Nigeria cannot move forward. Look at President Bola Tinubu’s government, which just came into office. In less than six months, the government has recklessly borrowed so much money without proper plans on how the borrowed money would be used to better the lives of the people of Nigeria. President Bola Tinubu and his entourage went to the United Nations not too long ago, and in the few days they spent there, it was alleged that over 390 million naira were spent on hotel accommodation alone. Recently, it was alleged that over 130 million naira was mapped out for each of the lawmakers at the national assembly of Nigeria to buy SUV vehicles, while the ordinary people of Nigeria can barely feed well. President Bola Tinubu’s government is too wasteful, and if they continue like this, Nigeria as a country may go bankrupt. Again, we have seen that President Bola Tinubu does not have all it takes to lead Nigeria; he is just there to answer the name of the president of Nigeria. Nothing good is going to come out of President Bola Tinubu’s leadership, which is the truth. Take it or leave it.
