Viewers Corner News team shall continue to stress on this point that any governor in Nigeria who is not paying workers salaries and pensioners allowances is a fraud on his own because such governor gets his or her own salary but has refused to pay workers and pensioners in his/her state. In our (Viewers Corner News team) opinion, re-electing such governor to office is a continuation of poverty which voters in Kogi state (Nigeria) should completely avoid. Up till today, governor Yahaya Bello has not cleared the arrears he owed workers and pensioners in Kogi state (Nigeria), meaning that he is not capable of leading the people of his state, so re-electing him to office does not make any sense. Kogi state (Nigeria) has lots of great people who can take the state to the next level, certainly not governor Yahaya Bello because he has proven himself in his first tenure as a leader who can not perform. We (Viewers Corner News) want the people of Kogi state (Nigeria) to learn from what is happening in Abia state (Nigeria). Despite the advice given to voters not to re-elect governor Victor Ikpeazu of Abia state (Nigeria) who is one of Nigeria’s worst performing governors, still they went ahead and re-elected him to office. Now the people are regretting it, saying that if they had known, they would have tried another candidate but then it is too late for them. Meaning that they would have to bear the hardship of governor Victor Ikpeazu’s system the next four years. Please the people of Kogi state, save your elders and workers from the hands of governor Yahaya Bello and vote for a progressive candidate who shall take the state to the next level. Like we (Viewers Corner News) mentioned in our previous articles, Viewers Corner News team shall be on ground during the voting period in Kogi state (Nigeria) come November 2019 to witness the election process. Again, we (Viewers Corner News team) shall continue to support good governance anywhere it is found. The welfare of the people should be the number one priority of every governor in Nigeria and as long as the federal government of Nigeria is giving every state the monthly allocations, voters should hold their governors accountable if their salaries and pension allowances are not paid as at when due.
