If Nigeria as a country had had lawmakers like Hon. Sergius Ogun of the House of Representatives presiding over issues, Nigeria would have been a better place for all.
Hon. Sergius Ogun sponsored a bill that would have stopped public officers from sending their children abroad to study. Immediately the bill was read in the House, lawmakers with evil intentions for the country rejected the bill. Our point here is that, if such a bill was put into law, the issue of strike actions in Nigerian schools would not be there. Those government officials will ensure that all the public schools across the country are adequately equipped and maintained because their children are also attending school there. Nigerians should have a rethink and know who they are pushing forward to represent them. Nigeria is not moving forward because the majority of the lawmakers at the National Assembly of Nigeria are there for their own selfish gains. They do not care about the welfare of Nigerians who elected them to office. The majority of the lawmakers are very corrupt and will not work in the best interests of all Nigerians. Therefore, the Viewers Corner News team is appealing to the people of Nigeria to take note of those corrupt lawmakers who voted against the schooling abroad bill sponsored by Hon. Sergius Ogun. In future elections, those lawmakers would come and ask the ordinary people of Nigeria to vote for them. Then you have to remind them that they rejected the bill that would have guaranteed quality education for all Nigerians. Hence, you will not vote for them anymore. Doing so will be a good starting point to correcting the deceitful games being played by politicians across Nigeria. If you want the progress of Nigeria, you as a voter should be able to vote for a credible individual to represent you at all levels of government. Do not vote based on sentiment, just because that person is your relative or associate, knowing fully well that he/she does not have the capacity to lead. Vote only on merit, a situation where the individual in question would carry all the people of Nigeria along, using the available resources of the country to better the lives of all Nigerians. This is who the people of Nigeria should cast their votes for in 2023.
