IF INNOCENT IDIBIA (2FACE) AND HIS COLLEAGUES CARRY OUT THE PROTEST AS PLANNED, THEN THEY ARE DOING SO FOR THE WRONG REASON. PLEASE CHANNEL YOUR PROTEST/ANGER ON THE POLITICAL ARMED ROBBERS WHO LED NIGERIA IN THE PAST AND NOT PRESIDENT BUHARI’S GOVERNMENT.

Protest should be seen as a weapon against any government who has failed to deliver campaign promises to the people of the country and it is one of the most effective tools to send messages across to the leadership of any country. In a democratic system of government, it is allowed but quite unfortunate that in most third world countries people can be manipulated or bought over to stage a protest which means they may have sold their conscience for selfish reasons probably. Again this system we just described above is very common in most third world countries and no matter how enlightened we tend to be, someone somewhere who wanted power by all means may be playing games by using those within the country who are believed to be famous and known to the general public so that they can gain favour from the public through them and in so doing, a government that is working nicely to rebuild the country would then be seen as the worst government ever. This is exactly what is happening in Nigeria today, 2face who is a well known musician in the country (Nigeria) is allegedly being used by some politicians who have no means of making easy money anymore based on our findings. Somehow they may have asked him to gathered people as many as he could so that they can go out and protest against president Buhari’s government, showing that Nigerians detest his policies of not being able to fix the economy properly which has created hardship in the country (Nigeria). We (Viewers Corner News team) would like to inform Mr Innocent Idibia that president Buhari and his government did not create the economic hardship in Nigeria, it was created by the past governments who took things for granted and failed to lay a good foundation when things were better during their time. President Buhari is trying to rebuild the damaged economy and no reasonable government can rebuild the system without first cleaning the damaged environment which is corruption, recklessness and carelessness created by Nigerian politicians in the past. This is part of what president Buhari’s government has succeeded in getting hold of and his government is doing nicely on that. When a good foundation is properly laid, then every other thing in the economy would fall in place but before all these can be achieved, lots of sacrifices would have to be made and that is what the Nigeria people are passing through at the moment. It is true that things are very hard in Nigeria but in no time, things would start getting better again. All Nigerians need now is patience and give support to president Buhari’s government instead of planning how to carry out a protest which is not proper and if any protest is going to take place, it should be channeled towards the law that granted the ex-Nigeria governors the pension allowance they are enjoying which is so outrageous and very bad. In Nigeria, ex-governors receive billions as pension and most of them are still working as senators collecting huge amount of money while ordinary Nigerians who stood for hours trying to cast their votes for them to lead their various states are still in abject poverty. This is the area we want the Nigerian people to look into because what these ex-governors receive on monthly basis if put together can create infrastructures for the people of Nigeria.  A reform concerning ex-Nigeria governors’ pension allowances is needed because what is being paid out alone to them is huge. Again we are appealing to Mr. Innocent Idibia (2face) and his colleagues to look for people who can tutor them on issues of the economy before carrying out any protest. Please protest for the right reasons not because someone somewhere has told you to do so. Having said all these, we would also plead with president Buhari and his government to start working on issues of the economy as soon as they can to put things right for the Nigerian people.
