Many people in Nigeria are saying that since ex-governor Bola Ahmed Tinubu has declared interest in running for the post of president of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osinbajo should not contest. The reason given was that Alhaji Bola Ahmed Tinubu is believed to have brought him to the corridors of power. So it may not be fair if he contests the position with him. Although Alhaji Bola Ahmed Tinubu may have assisted many people in the past, the Nigeria of today needs an active leader like Professor Yemi Osinbajo. Professor Yemi Osinbajo is more modern in leadership to take Nigeria to the next level. The country’s Presidency is stressful based on what we know, which the Viewers Corner News team believe would be too heavy for Alhaji Bola Ahmed Tinubu to carry, considering his age and health. The Viewers Corner News team appeals to all Nigerians both at home and abroad to support Professor Yemi Osinbajo’s candidacy if he declares to run for president of Nigeria. Again, if the All Progressives Congress decides to give the presidential ticket to Alhaji Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the APC may likely lose the Presidency in 2023.
