The recent election in Chad is seen by lots of people as camouflage because the president of the country, president Idriss Deby will never relinquish his post to anyone. He has no intention of stepping down. Some opposition party complained of election irregularities in most polling-booths across the country (Chad) but then most people seem not to buy the idea that such irregularities ever took place in the country. It is only in the continent of Africa that leaders of various African countries would be in power for as long as they want without anyone challenging them, whoever does would either be jailed or killed because of quest for power. This system has affected lots of countries within the continent of Africa in a more negative way and most African leaders practising this ´´stay in office forever kind of system´´ has outstayed their usefulness in power. No reform in their various countries has ever been carried out, the economy of their various countries remain stagnant and such system may at the end breeds poverty or extremist group springing up from the country as a result of frustration which citizens of the country are passing through on daily basis. This is too bad and the leaders of these countries kept deaf ears to the problems of the people. This system that is ongoing in Chad is also happening in Djibouti, the president of the country (Ismaïl Omar Guelleh) has been in power since 1999 and has refused to step down or carry out reforms that would bring benefits to the citizens of the country (Djibouti). For so many years, his country (Djibouti) has been battling the Islamic extremist group without any hope of bringing peace to the country. Recently presidential election was held with lots of irregularities recorded and the citizens of the country believed that the election was just camouflage. The president, Ismaïl Omar Guelleh declared himself winner and no one can challenge him. Again this situation is only happening in the continent of Africa and with such system in Djibouti where president Ismaïl Omar Guelleh has refused to step down after many years in power, tell me why poverty and different kinds of extremist groups would not be formed in the country?
Our (Viewers corner) advice to all these leaders in the continent of Africa who have refused to stepped down is this, please create a good means of livelihood for the citizens of your various countries so that they could be able to work and take care of their pressing needs because they own the country with you and it is unfair if you threat them wrongly.
