Ibrahim Magu, the acting chairman of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission is doing a great job in the country (Nigeria) but it is very unfortunate that some few groups of individuals who have soil their hands in corruption are opposing him from being confirmed as the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission’s chairman which is bad. Everyone in Nigeria is talking about development and a better life for all Nigerians, how can this be achieved if certain wrong issues are not properly controlled. Nigeria is a rich and blessed country but those in the helm of affairs in the past manipulated the system so terribly to suit themselves alone by looting the treasury of the country (Nigeria) which Ibrahim Magu and his agency are trying to fix nicely and at the same time bring those who created these problems to face the law. It was alleged that Bukola Saraki (the senate president of Nigeria) was involved in a 19 billion Naira Paris club-loan refund scam which the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission is trying to investigate on. This alleged corrupt practice recently found by Ibrahim Magu and his boys involving Bukola Saraki (the senate president of Nigeria) and other senior bank officials in the country (Nigeria) is a great job well done by Ibrahim Magu. These are among the people playing politics with Ibrahim Magu’s confirmation, some even said that since his name has been submitted two times and rejected, the president should nominate another person. The truth is that president Buhari would continue to submit Ibrahim Magu’s name to the senate until he is confirmed as the chairman of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission because he is the best man for the job, that is the truth. He has done remarkably well in his job and should be confirmed.
