IBRAHIM KPOTUN IDRIS HAS BEEN APPOINTED AS THE NEW ACTING INSPECTOR-GENERAL OF POLICE BY PRESIDENT BUHARI.

Ibrahim Kpotun Idris has been appointed as Acting Inspector-General of Police (IGP) by president Buhari of Nigeria. According to report, his (Ibrahim Kpotun Idris) appointment was approved on Tuesday, June 20th by president Muhammadu Buhari and he will replace the retiring Solomon Arase.
The 57-year old Ibrahim Idris was the Assistant Inspector-General in charge of Operations at the police  Headquarters before his recent appointment and he is from Kutigi, Lavun in Niger State (Nigeria). He holds a Bachelors degree in Agriculture from the Ahmadu Bello University Zaria and also a degree in Law from the University of Maiduguri. Ibrahim Idris was once a Commissioner of Police in Nasarawa state, Kano State and also at the police headquarters as a commissioner in charge of Police Mobile Force.
