IBRAHIM BABANGIDA, THE FORMER MILITARY PRESIDENT OF NIGERIA JUST TURNED 75 YEARS OLD AND IN HIS MINNA RESIDENCE, HE MADE A REMARK THAT THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY BE MADE PART TIME. GOOD IDEA FROM A FORMER MILITARY PRESIDENT.

The former military president of Nigeria, Ibrahim Babangida is one man Nigerians may never forget in a hurry. Lots of people in Nigeria named him Maradona, some called him evil genius because of his style of leadership when he was the military leader of Nigeria in the 80s and under his regime, so many things went wrong which lots of people in Nigeria hold against him till today. Some believe that if he says something today before you know it, he is saying another thing the next second which means he is not consistent and can change at any give time hence he is not someone anyone can trust at all. This is the believe of lots of people in Nigeria and as a leader, anyone with such quality may never make a good president. Viewers Corner News team gathered this information based on our recent findings about him (Ibrahim Babangida), recently he turned 75 years old and in his Minna residence, he (Ibrahim Babangida) made a useful suggestion that if he had the opportunity of leading the country (Nigeria) again, he would make National Assembly members to work part time because the amount of money spent in running the activities of the House is so huge. This is a good suggestion, such plan can save Nigeria billions of Naira if properly implemented.
Viewers Corner News team believe that if president Ibrahim Babangida is given another opportunity to lead the country (Nigeria) again, he would deliver nicely for so many reasons. First he has more experience now than before and may not be interested in worldly things like the past leaders. Secondly, what he knows now if put in practice, Nigeria would move forward. We (Viewers Corner News team) are very sure of that but the problem is this, the Nigerian people have already formed a very wrong impression about Ibrahim Babangida because of his past records which he has already explained to Nigerians why he took such decision at that particular point in time that got the Nigerian people talking and some group of people would also not be interested in having him as the president of Nigeria anymore because of his health conditions as alleged. Therefore few of these factors may prevent him from getting another chance to lead the country (Nigeria). However he is a great man in his own way and always knows how to get out of any situation most especially when the heat is on, he would always be remembered in the history of Nigeria as one of those leaders who played a great role in nation’s building either positive or negative depends on public opinion.
