Sir Robert Mugabe, the president of Zimbabwe is 93 years old and still saying that he would stand as a candidate for his political party in the next presidential election in his country (Zimbabwe) when his tenure ends, this is unbelievable. What would he achieve by putting his country in bondage? Since he became the president of Zimbabwe, a one time flourishing country has now turned upside down because president Robert Mugabe and those he placed in position of authority are unable to turn things around for good. The people of the country (Zimbabwe) are passing through severe hardship as a result of poor leadership. Now this same president Robert Mugabe who has ruined the economy of his country allegedly said that he would stand for another election in his country (Zimbabwe), it is very clear that he will surely reinstall himself to power as usual. This is a man who has already outstayed his usefulness in power and any president who wants the betterment of his people would not be treating them the way Sir Robert Mugabe is doing. He should step down, encourage and allow the younger generation of new leaders to takeover the running of the country (Zimbabwe) while he step aside and be the elder statesman which he is but he has refused completely to do so. However we shall continue to pray to God so that Sir Robert Mugabe would have a change of mind and listen to the voice of his people who have been calling on him to step down and handover power to new breeds of politicians in the country (Zimbabwe).
