Honestly governor Ayo Fayose went too far, democracy permits everyone to speak his or her mind in the system where it exists which is very nice and that is one of the advantages of such system of government as long as we do it constructively. Again our criticisms should assist the government in question to do what is right for the citizens of the country (Nigeria) but a governor like Ayo Fayose carried his own to an extreme which is not right. There is no control when governor Ayo Fayose is speaking, anything that comes to his mind goes out from his mouth without proper evaluation. Even during the last presidential election and up till now, he is still doing the same thing without the Nigerian public knowing that his cupboard is filled with lots of forbidden-fruits as alleged. Lots of people in the country (Nigeria) may be thinking right now that it could be as a result of his verbal attacks on president Buhari and his government that is why he is being investigated, may be or may be not but the evidence of theft and how lots of money were moved from one airport to Ekiti state looks real.
These allegations may affect him at the end which means governor Ayo Fayose may not be practising what he preaches. however we shall leave this aspect for the court of law to decide.
We (Viewers Corner News and the advisory team) would also use this opportunity to plead with governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti state to please try and pay the workers’ salaries in his state because if salaries are not paid to the workers, how do you expect them to feed their families? This could affect them severely.
