The Greece female interim Prime Minister, a 65-year-old Supreme Court head, Vassiliki Thanou
was sworn into office after former Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras resigned last week barely seven months into his four-year mandate, following a rebellion by members of his party who objected to his agreement with the conditions of Greece’s third International bailout.
Vassiliki Thanou on Friday, August 28, 2015 named the members of her caretaker government as the country heads to early elections next month, September 20, 2015.
Giorgos Houliarakis is the Finance Minister, Alkistis Protopsalti was named Tourism Minister, Petros Moliviatis becomes foreign minister.
