Viewers Corner News correspondent who visited Imo state on official assignment recently learnt that the state governor, Rochas Okorocha has demolished various buildings housing the people of his state and their businesses. As a result of that, lots of people who were affected by this exercise have nowhere to run to which makes living very hard for them. Though the reason for this demolition is not very clear but in Viewers Corner News opinion, we believe that the best thing to have done before demolishing those buildings would be to provide an alternative places for the people so that they can move in there but as it is now, no such place was provided. This demolition has created more hardship for the affected people therefore Viewers Corner News and the advisory team is appealing to governor Rochas Okorocha to kindly make provision for those affected who have no place to stay. These are human beings who made you a governor of the state therefore it is your responsibility to care for them and make sure that they are comfortable.
In future if your government will carry out such demolition assuming, please adequate notice should be given to the people so that they can plan ahead of time. Again it is the responsibility of every government to make sure that the people of his/her state are well cared for in all aspects and not throwing them on the street to suffer, this is against the law of God and humanity. Please let us show concern to the people who made us get to the position we are occupying today because without them most of you leaders would not be in power so treat them nicely by creating better living conditions using the available resources in the state and the federal allocation to achieve this objective. Yes you all can do that if corruption does not come into play, please think about it and do what is right for your people.
