GOVERNOR RAUF AREGBESOLA OF OSUN STATE (NIGERIA) IS ONE OF THOSE GOVERNORS IN NIGERIA WHO ARE UNABLE TO PAY WORKERS’ SALARIES AND PENSIONERS’ ALLOWANCES, PERHAPS HE IS USING THE STATE ALLOCATIONS FOR THE WRONG REASONS.

As long as the federal government of Nigeria is making sure that every state in the country (Nigeria) receives federal allocations on monthly basis, Nigerians both home and abroad would not agree with the reasons given by most governors in Nigeria who up till today are still owing workers’ salaries and pensioners’ allowances in their various states. It was revealed to Viewers Corner News team recently that governor Rauf Aregbesola of Osun state (Nigeria) has not paid salaries of workers for about eight to ten months including pensioners’ allowances too. Osun state receives their federal allocations from the federal government of Nigeria on monthly basis, it is either governor Aregbesola of Osun state is using the money meant for workers’ salaries and pensioners’ allowances for the wrong reasons, hence he is unable to pay them. Our (Viewers Corner News) correspondent in  Abuja (Nigeria) who was on working tour to Osun state (Nigeria) recently revealed to us that governor Aregbesola has made his state beautiful and is still making it to look more modern which is nice but in our opinion, those things have less meaning to human lives when majority can hardly feed well. Again the greatest project any governor in Nigeria can carry out in his state is making sure that those workers who worked throughout the month are properly paid including the pensioners too because it is their right and if they are not paid, how do governor Rauf Aregbesola and his government want them to feed? On the other hand, beautifying a state is good but the finance to do so should be raised from other sources and the monthly allocations where workers’ salaries and pensioners’ allowances are included should be used for the purpose it was meant for and not the other way round. We (Viewers Corner News) have written articles on this topic in the past and we shall continue to do so. Another point here is that any state governor in Nigeria who is unable to pay salaries of worker should not seek re-election because it does not make any sense voting for such governor anymore. If any governor in Nigeria during his first tenure is unable to pay workers’ salaries which has already created lots of hardship for the people of his state, why does he think that his second tenure would be different assuming? Somehow it is going to be another hardship for the next four years assuming he seeks re-election and perhaps wins. Our (Viewers Corner News team) advice to governor Aregbesola of Osun state is this; Pay up workers’ salaries and pensioners’ allowances in your state (Osun state, Nigeria) now and also make provision on how the subsequent months ahead shall be paid or Viewers Corner News and the advisory team would join the people of Osun state (Nigeria) to campaign against you. Our (Viewers Corner News team) slogan shall be: IF GOVERNOR RAUL AREGBESOLA OF OSUN STATE (NIGERIA) IS UNABLE TO PAY WORKERS’ SALARIES AND PENSIONERS’ ALLOWANCES IN HIS STATE, HE HAS NO BUSINESS BEING ELECTED TO ANY POST IN THE COUNTRY. We (Viewers Corner News team) are appealing to governor Aregbesola of Osun state (Nigeria) to pay all outstanding salaries and pensioners allowances in his state because the livelihood of majority of people in Osun state (Nigeria) depend solely on that money and if they are not paid, stress related illnesses could arise which may lead to death, that we pray does not happen. Please pay up now.
