GOVERNOR JERRY BROWN HAS PARDONED AN AMERICAN ACTOR, ROBERT DOWNEY FOR DRUG CONVICTION.

Robert Downey Jr. was among the ninety-one people that were pardoned recently by Governor Jerry Brown of California. According to Viewers Corner’s source, actor Robert Downey Jr. was convicted of drug related offence after he was arrested in 1996 in Los Angeles for carrying heroin, cocaine and a gun in his car. The “Iron Man” star, Robert Downey Jr. unconditional pardon came on the eve of Christmas which the California Governor does as a tradition to pardon some convicts who have shown remorse for their crimes and started living upright lives as law-abiding citizens. Governor Jerry Brown said that Robert Downey’s pardon restores his rights as a citizen including the right to vote.
