GOVERNOR DAVID UMAHI’S ADMINISTRATION AND SOME MEMBERS OF THE EBONYI STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY ARE ONCE AGAIN AT THE CROSSROADS.

Only the people outside Ebonyi state and a few Ebonyians whom Governor David Umahi has been deceiving by telling them what they wanted to hear are the ones praising Governor Umahi. If Nigerians knew Governor David Umahi and his government well, especially on issues of mismanagement and corruption, they would probably have a change of mind when it comes to supporting him. Before governor David Umahi left the Peoples Democratic Party and joined the All Progressives Congress, the majority of those at the Ebonyi state House of Assembly were his boys. The Viewers Corner News team named them the “YES” and “YES” boys of Governor David Umahi, but the moment they refused to go with him to APC, those boys became Governor Umahi’s worst political enemies. Now the Deputy Speaker of the Ebonyi State House of Assembly is alleged to have resigned, along with other members of the House. The alleged resignation letters of Hon. Odefa Obasi Odefa (the deputy speaker of the Ebonyi State House of Assembly) and other members of the House, which were read in the House recently, were forged, according to the information Viewers Corner News correspondent gathered. This means that the resignation letters were not written by any of the state House of Assembly members. The letters were forged by those loyal to Governor David Umahi, as alleged, which is bad. This brings us to the issue of Governor Umahi’s declaring that he wants to vie for the position of President of Nigeria. Governor David Umahi cannot make a good president of Nigeria. He is a very corrupt leader. Any governor who uses manipulation to get to the top will always lose in the end. The southeast has lots of great people who can successfully run the affairs of Nigeria if they are allowed to lead the country, certainly not governor David Umahi. Nigerians need leaders who can carry all the people of the country along with them for success to be achieved. The majority of those governors and ex-governors who have indicated interest in leading Nigeria are very corrupt and do not have the capability for such a job, which is the truth. Take it or leave it. These are governors who cannot manage their various states properly. So, how could Nigerians entrust the entire country to them? This is something Nigerians will have to think about before saying yes to any of these corrupt men, including governor David Umahi, assuming their political parties present any of them as candidates for the 2023 presidential election.
